   Barren/Maiden mares 14 years and over or Mares with foal at foot 18 years and over: £390.00 + VAT  

   All other mares: £320.00 + VAT

All veterinary treatment must be paid for in full before the work commences and the fee plan is not transferable to the following season.

 

Single Cycle

For work carried out at FAIRLIGHT STUD,  we quote a Set fee of: £230.00 + VAT

FEES INCLUDE:

  • Endometrial swab and smear to check for Endometritis.
  • All routine gynecological examinations and drugs to ensure insemination is performed at the optimum time.
  • Insemination.
  • Post ovulation check (including uterine lavage with 1 litre of saline if necessary).
  • Ultrasound pregnancy examinations to embryo/heartbeat detection.
  • Manual twin elimination and subsequent additional pregnancy examinations.
  • Caslick procedure.
  • October 1st pregnancy confirmation.

If the mare is not pregnant after her first insemination, then the process can be repeated at a reduced cost of: £185.00 + VAT

If the mare requires a third insemination, then the fee is reduced to: £185.00 + VAT

THIS FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

The cost of sedation, if it is necessary.
Journey fee to FLS. (cost will be split between mare owners as appropriate)
Pre Stud entry health tests ie, EVA, CEM & Strangles.
Treatment for Endometritis. If the mare is diagnosed with Endometritis on her swab and smear, an all-inclusive treatment fee of £85.00 + vat will be charged in view of work and drugs used.
Additional litres of saline for uterine lavage.

Three Cycle

  Barren/Maiden mares 14 years and over: £390.00 + VAT
